Want to become an EMT or EMR?

Could you commit to one night a week to respond to our building if we get a squad call? 

We provide a staffed VOLUNTEER crew from 6pm - 6am Monday - Sunday 365 days a year.   

Are you thinking about a career in the EMS field? EMT is the way to go. This training will take approximately 190 hours over a 4 month period (August - December) or (January - May)

EMR will take approximately 50 hours of training. We provide the training in-house at our Kingwood Rescue Squad building.

Are you thinking about Emergency Medical Services, but unsure you can pass the National Registry EMT test? Start with EMR. This will provide the basic understanding of what skills you will need to perform.

Did you know? - NJ DOH (Department of Health) has passed a law that will allow an EMT and an EMR to be a crew of two for non-emergency transports. You can work for a medical transport agency with only investing 50 hours of your time.
